We have the best ownership family in the world. Bar none. Spurred by the success of last year’s Koenigsegg Owners’ Tour of Sweden, a group of customers decided to gather again for a ‘takeover’ of Geneva during the biggest motor show of the year.
While most owners had their car shipped to Geneva for the event, we do have to acknowledge one intrepid owner who decided to drive to Geneva, including a stint through the snow-covered Swiss Alps!
The video below will give you a great insight into the conditions the Agera ML faced on the journey. Bear in mind that this is a rear-wheel-drive car with 1160hp!
There were up to eight Koenigseggs present in Geneva during the motor show, although you will only see seven of them in most of the group photos below (the blue One:1 only joined on the first press day of the show).
Cars on site included two of the seven One:1’s ever built, the first Agera RS built for the US market (Agera XS), the recently re-built Agera prototype, the aforementioned Agera ML (which may or may not be re-named as the Agera Snow-Plow), the gold-leaf adorned Agera RS Naraya, and two CCXs, one of which is affectionately known by its number plate – BOO!!
Attendees enjoyed a few days filled with great driving, great dinners and of course, a visit to the best motor show in the world. In fact, two of our owners decided to surprise us and take the notion of ‘visiting the motor show’ to another level completely, driving their cars on the red carpet inside the building right up to the Koenigsegg stand!

As mentioned above, we really do have the best ownership family in the world. It was a huge effort and a wonderful gesture for them to make their way to Geneva this year and we at Koenigsegg certainly appreciated it. They brought smiles to people’s faces wherever they went.
There were plenty of photo opportunities to be had for the car spotters around Geneva. We asked our experienced Koenigsegg photographer, James Holm, to do a shoot with the cars at Quay de Cologny by Lake Geneva, and the beautiful Hotel des Eaux-Vives.
Those photos are featured in the gallery below, along with others by German snapper, Keno Zache, and some photos from Koenigsegg staff and even the owners themselves!
